Authenticated Coins was founded in 2020 by Andrew Laws in Westlake Village, CA amid the global COVID pandemic. As a long time collector of US coins, Laws created the company to offer one of the widest selections of certified coins available in a time when transactions at coin shows were not possible due to the pandemic.
Intentionally designed to be a nimble and low overhead small business, the company is able to offer competitive pricing on rare US coins. Many of our customers have collected coins for years and some of the coins that we place with them may not appear on the market again for decades.
Since our founding, we have placed over 4,000 individually certified coins in the hands of collectors. Our mission is to deliver the best coin collecting experience possible. This goal is a cornerstone of our business and we use it to shape all processes within the company:
